The athletic association voted to make a major change regarding student ticket distribution at the University of Georgia yesterday. The new policy, apparently beginning next year, requires students to take a full 12 hours in order to be eligible to receive the full season ticket package. Priority is still determined by total number of hours taken.
So who does this actually have an effect upon? It looks like it's just fifth, sixth, and seventh year students who are just hanging on for football tickets, as well as the incoming freshman who should receive the left over tickets.
I think it's a solid move overall, but it would help me out a lot more if they would do this for road game tickets as well.

This will just make people sign up for 12 hours then drop 6 of them. But its a move in the right direction I suppose. But who cares what I think, I go to GSU
Good point. I didn't even think of that.
I guess if you're going to put the rest of your life on hold just for football tickets, you'll probably find some way around whatever they do to stop you.
Yes great point Shane. Hell sign up for 20 hours then as soon as you are notified what tickets you received you can drop half your classes. This is a good idea on principal but who gives a damn about principal when it comes to football tickets- the same students that scalp them for $100 a piece? Assholes.
