Apparently The Citadel is really good at basketball all of a sudden, its coach is Pat Conroy's cousin and one of its best players is a walk-on who went to Johnson.
I learned all these things today in coming across a couple of really interesting newspaper stories. What are the odds the New York Times and Savannah Morning News would have two separate pieces on Citadel basketball the same day?
Anyway, they're both definitely worth a quick read, and it looks like Conroy is working on another book about The Citadel, so that's something to look forward to.

Jordan's quote about the guy was pretty cool. He used to play at the Islands Y all the time. Big time boys with Cadet All, Cadet Williams, and Cadet Janufka. Nice guy.
Just think how good the Citadel would be if Mike Scott played.
