Rich McGowan
This guy is from Michigan but he has done a really good job since coming to the SMN a couple of years ago. It seems as if he really likes his job unlike some of the high school reporters that preceded him. Being from outside this area he has even brought to light some of the shortcomings of high schools in this area. Here is his blog from BC practice yesterday morning.

So Stroud is making football fun again. I get the feeling that is something that didn't happen under Hearndon.

I'm still not sold on McGowan, but that was a nice write-up. At least he's better than Adam "Look at me I have a Top 25 Ballot" Van Brimmer.
AVB is a tech guy
McGowan's pretty solid.
Van Brimmer covered Tech for a while, but he's not a "Tech guy." He's from Ohio or something.
And this: "Stroud, the offensive coordinator ran up to the goal line, dropped a ball on the ground and did some CPR on it." Words can't describe how awesome this is.
He sounds Irish- that sucks.
