I completely agree and would go as far as taking any legal action possible but if the region votes for it and GHSA confirms, then there aint much we can do.

If we win Friday, then Benedictine should host the region tournament.I hope we beat MCA, and I want BC to host the region tourney. I think we deserve to host the region tourney if we beat MCA. Hosting the region tournament would increase the chances of Benedictine winning the region tournament.
However, I think Holland is on to something. It's playoff time. Correct me if I'm wrong, but we aren't going to play state tournament games in Savannah, let alone at our own gym.
Beating MCA Friday and winning the region would be a great accomplishment for our team and our school, but that is not the ultimate goal for this year's team. (At least it shouldn't be)
It would be total bullshit for us to win Friday and not host the region tournament. But we will be taking bus rides very soon to play big games anyway, so I do see some good in us getting screwed out of hosting the region tournament (if it happens).
It would been interesting if Cannon were still coaching to see what kind of quotes the newspaper would have published. Lord knows we all remember the '01 "special olympics" debacle.

The 1st two rounds of the state tournament are played at the higher seeds home gym. The 3rd round is at a regional site such as Valdosta State or Columbus State. The semis and finals for AA are held in Macon. So if BC was a #1 or #2 seed they would host at least 1 playoff game. That is huge in this instance because BC's region is matched up against Region 3-AA in the 1st round, which is arguably the best AA region in the state.
BTW, BC is #7 in the state in the coaches poll released today. MCA is not ranked in this poll but is #9 in the AJC where BC is not ranked.
That changes my feelings a little bit, but I like the aggression/ pissed off vibe I am getting from Helton.
Winning the region tourney obviously has a bigger impact than I originally thought. Still, for a team with this much talent and a pissed off/us against the world attitude, where we play won't be an issue.

I don't think any concessions should be made. If we beat MCA Friday night, then we should host the tournament in our own gym.
