Wow

Fresno St. 19 - Georgia 1o
After Montgomery and Dodson didn't have it and were pulled, Georgia pretty much folded the tent by throwing the guys they did the rest of the way. Assuming Moreau starts tomorrow, both starters will be working on 3 days rest. The plus for Fresno is their guy is better on paper. Plus for Georgia is Weaver, McCree, and Fields will all be ready to go. Hopefully Moreau can keep it close and Fresno's bats cool off. Wouldn't hurt if ole Lady Luck made an appearance.

That was the most painful game I've ever watched, and I've seen some bad ones when I was at UGA. I don't have a good feeling about tonight - seems like they have us at a disadvantage for sure.

And Moreau's last start was awful. Ugh. Go Dawgs. Please.

"Nice softball game last night. Guess we bought the beers." - Dawgvent post today.

I'm not sure what to think about tonight's game. I thought after Monday night's dramatic win Georgia would walk all over a demoralized Fresno State team and that looked to be the case early on. Then Fresno started teeing off and all hell broke lose. So what will Fresno do with their momentum tonight? Obviously someone has to lose tonight but I hope and pray Georgia doesn't let this golden opportunity slip away.

In a weird way, I think our team will be more ready to play today than they were yesterday. Today it is a do or die elimination game and that's where this team has excelled as of late. You can't tell me they won't be a lot more pumped up for tonight's game than they were last night. If Moreau can get through at least three innings without giving up too many runs, I feel confident with the likes of McRee, Weaver, and Fields bringing it home. If he has another first inning meltdown on the other hand, we could be in for a long night. I still firmly believe this team is destined to be champions.

Alls I know is that the Bulldogs are going to win the CWS. BTW, did you know that Beckham made the last out in the 2006 CWS and Perno told him that he was going to be the one that gets them back to Omaha? Great story. I hope they tell it again tonight.

Did yall hear that the outfielder for Fresno has one thumb? Also, they try hard. They even beat good teams to get to the CWS championship!!!

Mr Swarz, are you sure you chose the right career path after hearing Mike Patrick continually confuse guys on GA's team with guys on Fresno's team? Not to mention his overall demeanor and wise comments. Is he the best ESPN has to offer for the CWS? Well I guess the big dogs, Joe Morgan and John Miller, are busy with the MLB.

Thank God for the EuroCup= superb commentary.
