"Britt and his wife Stephanie have two daughters - Southern (12) and Saylor (10). Britt and his family opened their home to former Calvary Day player Demarcus Dobbs, whom Britt considers a son. The story was dubbed "Blind Side - Savannah Style," in the Savannah Morning News. Dobbs just completed his football career at Georgia, where he graduated in December with a degree in consumer economics."
I've been told that they went with the candidate who they thought could be more than just a football coach along with Chumley's plans and desires for staff hirings and moving back to AA.
I am going rally behind Britt, but Chumley would be have been a boost in enrollment in the short term. Maybe Britt can be the long term answer. Only time will tell

Does anyone specifically know for sure why we didn't get Chumley? Sorry but I am going to keep asking this.
Combination of money and the way Chumley runs a program?

Chumley wanted back in AA because he sees the writing on the wall. Smart man.
