Time to Move On...

As much as I would love to pull a Bill Murray and relive this past weekend over and over again, like JD (lots of A-listers in town this weekend) said today, we must move on. Those Hotty Toddy Ole Miss Rebels are coming to town. Hopefully Georgia won't sleepwalk through this 1:00 non-televised SEC contest or we could be in big trouble (a la Florida). Look away, look away, look away Dixieland!

Does anyone remember if Ole Miss even brought there band to the game back in 2002? I know a few of us were there, but I can't remember hearing Dixie at all. I hope they bring them this year. Hell, Miss State brought there whole band to Athens last year.

Isn't there some agreement that won't allow them to play Dixie at UGA anymore? I'm not kidding. I'm foggy on the details, but I think that's exactly why they didn't bring their band the last time.

It's a state issue with the song, not a UGA issue, if I remember correctly. I'm pretty sure Dixie can't be played anymore.

I'm not sure but if that's the case that's bulls***!

The Ole Miss Band website (http://www.olemiss.edu/depts/band/calendar.html) has them going to every game except Georgia. Could be some validity to the state of Georgia thing brought to light by ally.
